I finally reported for duty today after four days of sickly break. As soon as I stepped near my workstation, I almost retreated and backed out from working again. There were heaps and piles of invoices and AP vouchers waiting for me on top of my desk. But reality sank so I relaxingly started my routines. One at a time. Keeping “stress” aside. Of course, I do remember and must live by my doctor’s reminder: MANAGE STRESS APPROPRIATELY. And that’s what I did on my first day back at work. I did extend a bit but hubby and I nevertheless, went home early.
