Keeping It Forever.

After going over and reliving a few entries here last night, I'm just glad that I didn't delete this account when I was tempted many times to do so during my pregnancy. Well, it was basically my hormones dictating and acting up that time. You know how inconsistent, sensitive and even irrational a pregnant woman can become, not at all the side effects of prenatal vitamins, but it's purely because of the raging hormones. I myself didn't understand my feelings and what was going on in my mind then. All I know is that a part of me wanted to click the "delete this blog" button. Glad, I didn't. This nook will remain very dear to my heart because this is my very first online space where I chronicled my wedding preparations and the first part of my pregnancy. So for sentimental reasons, even though it doesn't have its own domain and doesn't earn from it that much anymore, I'm keeping it until forever.

Cherish.

It's been a while since I last updated this blog. As you know, I've been busy authoring other blogs as they've been my bread and butter while I work from home. I've thought of deleting this free-hosted blog but the sentimental in me just can't because this has been my first ever home online and has been housing my random blurbs for four years now. I have thought also of getting this its own domain however, it's like christening a 40 year old man with a new name. It was known for this domain and it will remain until the day that it will take its final bow..that I couldn't tell when yet. Its glory days may be gone, reaching as high as PR4...even underwent tremendous web directory submissions and got tons of backlinks from other sites...but this will always remain a special one for me. Whenever I feel like reading about my wedding and pregnancy days, the archives never cease to bring smile to my face.

What Color Should Your Blog or Journal Be?

Your Blog Should Be Purple

You're an expressive, offbeat blogger who tends to write about anything and everything.

You tend to set blogging trends, and you're the most likely to write your own meme or survey.

You are a bit distant though. Your blog is all about you - not what anyone else has to say.

4 Going 6.

Yes..I'm currently taking a big leap.

From 4 blogs, I'm now officially authoring 6 blogs.

It's a handful but I have to...all for that "big goal".

What's Cooking?

...it's not sweet.
...it's not coarse.
...it can't be eaten.

Then what is it?

Well, I'm cooking up a new blog. It's still taking shape and it's in the process of redirection. I just hope that I set the proxy settings right. Or else, it'll take some time before it'd be up.

Clean Up.

Sheesh, it seems I have a tremendous cleaning up to do in this blog before I go and search the web for insurance quotes. Not only on this blog actually but across all of my blogger-platformed blogs. I'm sick and tired of receiving and reading spam comments and for all I know, these are spammers doing malicious SEO activities to gain advantage for their sites. Oh well, let's see where will you be taken with such acts.

randomness…feed your mind and your blog

I blog everyday.

6. What do you usually blog about?
Sometimes I do reviews about anything like auto insurance quotes. But most often it's all about my son.

Cobwebs Clearing.

On this blog, that is.

I know I have seemingly neglected this blog since I started my Swept Away main blog and I feel such a bad blogger of my deed. My agenda for this week: dust away the cobwebs of my sidebar and update all the embellishments and links then publish at least 3 themed quality posts by the end of the week. More than three would be better. I'm not going to change the theme of this blog though. I just so love the layout that I'm keeping it until such time that I finally get bored with it.

Thanks to all those who are still loving my Love blog despite the lack of personal posts. Keep those EC cards dropping. I appreciate them all, really.

Main Blog Up.

Please be advised that my main blog is back and running. I've transferred hosts two days ago, thus, the site wasn't accessible for several hours as the propagation of domain almost took one day. Also, since it's practically my first time to do it, I slowly and carefully went through the installation and transfers all by myself (with just a little support from my host).

So there, please take time to visit and read where almost all of my musings are chronicled. By the way, I need to allot double time with my online assignments. The husband's birthday is fastly approaching and Asher and I still don't have a gift for the big boss. He's wishing for a Canon EOS 400D so I do really need to speed up my online biz. I'm bargaining though, if ever we can purchase one for him soon, I told him that we'll be having fractional ownership over it. Lolz.

Back to Blogging.

If you haven't noticed yet, I've been blogging in my three online turfs like crazy since last week. It is because of the extra help that I'm getting from my Mom and Asher's Nanny. I now have some free time to focus on posting updates and on my online raket and it's doing pretty good. Yay...my paypal fund finally gets replenished.

MIA?

I know I promised that I'd still keep this blog. And I still do. I have been missing in action lately primarily because I'm so busy with work (what's new with that excuse?). Also, I haven't totally been absent since, as previously mentioned, I'll be seen more in my main blog. So if you wanna know more about my latest musings, just head over there. There's not much though since I've really been loaded at work especially that I'll be on Maternity Leave soon.

To aggravate things, we're having problems with our internet service provider at our Frisco home since last week. Hubby complained about this already and they said that they're fixing things. I wonder how long will it take them to fix. The family's computer business has been closed for several days already and it ain't good. Hubby is now contemplating of changing ISPs and buying a mobile router for a better and reliable internet service.

Unfolding...

Finally, I have it up and running.

I'll still maintain this blogger account but I'll now be blogging more often there(http://mdanganan.com). Please link it up and hope to see you there.

New Look.

Since today’s a holiday and there's not much to do, I finally decided to clear the cobwebs away and gave this blog a new look. I’m still smitten by the Baby Book I bought so I’m having a Guess How Much I Love You theme this time. I was actually contemplating to have a Christmas theme (tomorrow’s December already!) but I couldn’t find a blue-themed template. Oh yeah, blue has been my blog’s motif ever since I started.

So tell me how do you find the new look?

BTB Award.

Che gave me this one (thanks a bunch!) and I am so honored to sport this badge on my blog.
Quoting it.. “this is the Be The Blog award, which is presented to a successful blogger, one who can “be the blog” - making it their own, staying with it, interacting with the readers, and just plain having fun.”

To Andrea, Toni, Mhay, Litzie and Rissa..it’s your turn to display this badge on your blogs.

Bloggy Award.

Look what Mhay has given me:

Hmm..honestly, I don’t know if my blog really deserves a kitten-friendly award (baka naman may mga readers din akong kittens hehe!). This is cute, I must say. I’m flattered with all the awards that have been given to this nook of mine, although I haven’t blogged about most of them..not because I’m ungrateful, pero blame it to my pregnancy hormones, I just unintentionally forgot to do so..pati na mga tags. Don’t worry, I’ll do them soon.
Now, I'm also awarding this badge to Ann and Kathy.

Weekend Blogger.

I’ve been blogging again like crazy this weekend especially on my other blog. As you’ve figured out, it is because this is the only time I get to surf and stay online all day. Work doesn’t allow me to do so on weekdays. Paid blogging opps are scarce lately, though, specifically at PPP. But at any rate, I still managed to accomplish about 8 opps (as of this writing) since yesterday courtesy of other paid blogging sites. Yahoo! That’s about USD60+ additional savings for the Ipod budget of my dear hubby. Yep, that’s one of the things that Paul has on his wish list this Christmas. I know I have to do more. I’m wishing that PPP will be a little bit kinder sana and they give out more opps for those who are lowly segmented.

Blog Revival.

Weeeee! I’ve been blogging like crazy since the other day..I bet you’ve noticed it. At least, I have something to keep me busy while I’m confined here at home for one week to rest. I even missed the cemetery-hopping that the family did yesterday. Oh well, at least I was left by hubby with a half roll of a choco caramel cake for merienda as a consolation – what a yummy yum sinfully delicious treat!

I have also revived my Digiscrap Blog although I haven’t done or even started a new layout. Well, I’m just “rejuvenating” my paid blogging pursuit for the mean time anyway and hope my mojos will start hitting again soon. One at a time.

Google has updated PR rankings once again and what I got? Both a good news: my own domain blog got a whopping PR3 from 0 and a bad news: this blog went down to PR2 from PR3. Well, not bad. I guess that’s what I deserve from neglecting this blog for quite some time.

Glad to know that Paypal Philippines has a receiving facility already albeit having a limited withdrawal feature…this is indeed great especially for me who’s into paid blogging. Which reminds me, I’ll inquire from my credit card company how to go about this one and also, I need to discover how to change the paypal ID I registered over at PPP. I tried doing it in my dashboard but it seems I can’t successfully change it. I wonder how I should do it.

Almost.

I have a confession to make.

** on a guilty note **
I almost have this blog deleted during my two-month hiatus.

I didn’t know what was in me; again, perhaps these crazy hormones were whacking me that bad then. For the longest time, I never visited nor even peeped. Just like how the thought of greasy foods made me puke, just the mere sight of this online sanctuary of mine made me feel queasy thus; I was tempted to permanently get rid of it.

I have always heard that pregnancy could sometimes make you crazily “insane” (crazy na nga, insane pa). I’m just glad that I didn’t give in to that ridiculous idea. Now, that I’m starting to get my mojos back, I suddenly realized…hey, why would I trash this precious journal where I have been keeping memories for the last 2 ½ yrs of my existence. It’s so so so bad of me to have thought of that. As I go through each corner, page and space of this blog…each posts stashed in the archives, the digiscraps I made, the counter hits, the site referrers list where my wedding stuffs get most of the hits, all the love in the tagboard and mybloglog…dawned on me, this is my online home and will forever keep it that way.

This Blog..

….is sporting a new look..again.

Like it? Hate it? What do ‘ya think?

By the way, my blog’s new theme is based on this caption for a layout I did several months back.

Journalling:
As long as I am with you and you are with me, I'll never fear to face the waves of life.
