Modern Wall Fireplace

I have always wanted to have a wall fireplace similar to this.  It gives a finishing touch to the stylish look of the home.  I really like how it makes the home particularly the living room lovelier, cozier, and how it provides a  more relaxing atmosphere to the home during those frosty wintry nights.  Nowadays, modern and stylish wall fireplaces have made the traditional brick fireplaces in the olden times obsolete.  It can easily be powered by electricity even.  While it is nice to have this lovely décor in our home, it would be impractical and off since we don’t experience winter here in our part of the world.

Supportive Husband

Ever since I started my handcrafted baby headband business, the husband has been complaining about the “mess” it has caused in the house.  It’s not actually about the messy stuff per se but it’s the multiplying containers and racks of materials and supplies I’ve stocked.  I don’t have my own craft room so the portion that used to be the storage of my son’s toys is now my territory.  He’s joking that he’ll back me up all the way in this endeavor so that when this business hit big, I’d be able to acquire my own space for all of these stuff.    Sometimes, he even helps me out with the orders by cutting felt cloths, product cards or sticking zebra labels onto products.  See, he’s one supportive husband.

He Missed Them

It’s been a month already since my parents arrived from abroad and will be staying here for good.  And if there’s one person who can be considered the happiest because of their arrival, that would have to be Asher.  He’s ecstatic and thrilled every time we visit them in Makati or they visit us here in Quezon City.  Of course, the feeling is mutual for the doting grandparents.  Asher loves playing with his Lolo so much that my Dad could no longer keep up with the little one’s energy.  They have also  been generous in showering him with gifts and toys, probably making up for the long time that they’ve been away and for the special occasions they’ve missed.  We’ll be seeing them soon again and I’m thinking of surprising them with a special token of thanks.  I’ve seen a couple of nice gifts at Red Envelope.  I’m convinced that it’s the shop for those hard to buy for grandparents.  So ecstatic to see their reaction.
