Happy Father's Day!

Dedicated to all the Fathers, Daddies, Papa, Amas, Itays, Tatays out there...this is your special day. Relax and enjoy being pampered by the whole family!

To my Papa...I know that i don't tell you often enough but i love you very much.

To my FIL...thank you for the support you've been giving us.

To my Husband, if you're reading this...just hop on over to my main blog because I have a very special message for you. Hahahah!

Queen of Procrastination.

My eyes hurt. My back aches. I am yawning every 10 seconds or so. My body's yearning for the body already but I just can't go to call it a night because I still have a few tasks to finish. If only, I didn't play Bejeweled Blitz at Facebook earlier, if only I finished these tasks early on, if only I didn't procrastinate, I could have been lightly wandering in the dreamland by now. Yes, there goes the queen of procrastination again.

He Deserves a Break.

The husband has been working overtime for most of the days these past few weeks. He's home regularly by 9 PM this week much to his dismay because often, Asher is already asleep. Asher's regular sleeping time is usually 8 PM so when I find him so alert and up still by past 8, I try not settle him down yet so his Daddy can still see and play with him. Hubby says that instantly, the stress vanishes instantly upon seeing Asher. He's been so swamped with work lately and this makes me want to treat and sneak a little time off from his work so we can go to an out of town or even out of the country family vacation. Since we didn't have enough swimming getaways last summer, how does a week long stay at Azul Beach Hotel sounds? Azul Beach is one of the Karisma Group of Hotel’s five signature resorts and I heard great raves about it. Soothing treatments that pampers the body while lying on the white pristine sand of Riviera Maya, invigorating activities like deep-sea fishing, cenote diving or meditation classes, fabulous gourmet restaurants - that's my idea of a great getaway for the hardworking husband!

Prevent Passing On the Flu.

The A(H1N1) influenza pandemic is putting the whole world on high alert. Everyone's closely monitoring and on the lookout, all frightened brought about bythe tragic effect it caused in some countries like Mexico and US where hundreds died from it. There is no vaccine for it yet to prevent from having it so the best armor one has is a healthy body and proper hygiene. The secret they say is to religiously wash the hands and eat healthy foods rich in Vitamin C.

First Time.

Earlier today, a friend of mine who recently gave birth sent a text message asking about Asher's baptism details last year. At the same time, she informed me that I'll be one of her daughter's godparents. I have a few godchildren, all are hubby's actually so the moment we got married, they also became mine. Technically, believe it or not, this is a first time for me and I'm excited. The christening will take place next month so as early as now, I have to start browsing online and consequently buy baby gifts for Baby Yui. The first shop that comes in my mind is Babynest.com. I've window shopped there previously and I find their baby and nursery essentials cute and amazing. Babynest.com has an array of adorable, personalized gifts for the parents and their bundles of joy.

Sleepy.

Anyone who has a toothpick that I can stick in and prevent my drooping eyes from closing?

I only had 4 hours of sleep last night and was awake the whole day. Now it's 11:17 PM and my body's seemingly wanting to call it a night already but my blogs say, not yet. I still have a few tasks to be done..although, not yet due tomorrow but it's better if I finish them ahead of its deadline.

Don't Judge.

..a book by its cover.

You may find this house unappealing from the outside.

Hold your thumbs down sign because look what it got inside.

Don't you just love the bare yet simple, contrasting black and white look?

And look at the dining chairs, the colors match the grass outside. Perfect color combination inside and out.

I love the green basin and the black sink that looks like those zero radius sinks I found on the net recently. These sinks bring ultra modern look to the residential kitchen.

This, by the way, is called the Sinus House in Denmark designed by Cebra Architects.

What Color Should Your Blog or Journal Be?

Your Blog Should Be Purple

You're an expressive, offbeat blogger who tends to write about anything and everything.

You tend to set blogging trends, and you're the most likely to write your own meme or survey.

You are a bit distant though. Your blog is all about you - not what anyone else has to say.

Movie Watching Galore.

I think I have mentioned here a few weeks ago that hubby and I got hooked on downloading mp4 movies from symbianize forum for free. Well, actually, it wasn't totally free on our part because I had to upgrade my membership at megaupload so as to enjoy the unlimited and faster download of files for a month. But I tell you, the meager amount I paid was all worth it with all the movies we were able to download. How many you may ask, well, for you to have an idea, we aren't finished yet watching them all. Yes, that much. Every other night, if I'm not online, hubby and I would engage in movie marathons using his iPOD while waiting to get sleepy. However, we often debate first on the movie selection because we have different preferred movie types. It is in this light that I sometimes am tempted to check out the ipods at The Source (by Circuit City). Their wide array of ipod selections including accessories are one of the cheapest I've seen on the web. If ever I'll get one then we don't have to argue and debate which movie to watch at the same time.

Father's Day Gift.

Father's day is just a few weeks away and I'm still clueless what to surprise my dear hubby. This will be his second time to celebrate and I want it to be as special and memorable as his first. He has always been the perfect daddy to Asher and a good provider to us. He's been working hard these days at work, rendering overtime most of the days so on his special day, I would like to pamper him and give him something fabulous. I think I found the perfect gift for him at Holsted Jewelers. What do you think of this New Moon Men's Watch? Isn't it a darling? I'm sure that the husband would be delighted because of its sleek, silver-finish band. I simply love the design and I bet the husband, too, will go gaga over this. True to their word, even just by looking at their shop, I'm already having a “wow!” moment just like all the other customers of Holsted Jewelers. They're known for their beauty, craftsmanship and quality of their products like costume jewelry, rings, watches and all other jewelries that fancy you.

Multitasking.

The following are the reasons why I have a hard time blogging and doing my assignments with full concentration at the moment:

1. Bejeweled addiction
2. Monitoring Facebook status updates
3. Twittering
4. Refreshing "certain" sites waiting for some "miracles"
5. Reading feeds from bloglines

yes...that's multi-tasking at its finest. Or should I say, distracted at its finest?

Paintball Games, Anyone?

If given the chance (and time..and budget), I would love to try the game of paintball. I have watched several episodes of a local sports show where they featured such and from the looks of it, it seems it's totally fun. I like the thrill, the energy and the adrenaline rush as if you're in a combat. Albeit it's totally nerve-wracking, muscle-mangling and exhausting, nothing beats the feeling of overwhelming triumph when you hit someone bullseye with a paintball.

If you are as curious as me and would love to try out this sport, hubby told me that there's a shop online where you can buy paintball packages (starter kits) and other gears like paintball guns, paintball goggles, casual apparel, jerseys, hoppers and a whole lot more. What's even cooler about ZephyrPaintball.com is that their gears are marked down at lower prices with free shipping even.

First Carousel Ride.

Carousel ride at trinoma

This was Asher's first carousel ride and how did he find it? He certainly enjoyed the ride while I, on the other hand, got a little dizzy afterwards. LOL. Good thing Asher was just still and behaved all throughout the ride. I wonder if he'll also behave if he gets to ride a real horse. He was supposed to have his first ride when we were in Baguio last December but unfortunately, he fell asleep when we arrived at the Wright Park. I hope that he'll experience to ride one soon because the real thing is much different with all the saddles, breeches and all. Of course, the husband or I will ride with him since he's tool small yet to ride alone. Hopefully, I won't get dizzy this time since the horse doesn't go in circles. LOL.
