Wise Sportsman.

With the breakthroughs introduced by the internet in terms of online gaming, Paul has his interest with these online fantasy games being the techie and savvy person that he is: fantasy football, fantasy basketball and fantasy baseball. He likes playing and portraying as a team owner: drafting and trading players, determining team rosters, monitoring scores and records, etc. Aside from the enjoyment of strategizing and winning, another thing he’s looking forward to about these fantasy games is the chance to win huge prizes in cash.

Actually, that's one also of his recent interests lately. Associating riches with sports. By riches, I mean winnings in sport betting to be exact. While keeping entertained by his idols in the fields of boxing, basketball, soccer, football and baseball, he also enjoys waging for them. Not only he is entertained but these games and form of entertainment also somehow make him rich with all his winnings.

He truly is a wise sports fan, isn't he?

From Counterstrike to Airsoft.

When we were still childless, I remember that dear hubby used to be fascinated with playing Counterstrike on the PC. It is a Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) game that involves a tactical war between terrorist and counter terrorist groups. It is from this game that he got accustomed and familiar with different tactical equipments: from different pistols to machine guns and ammos to equipment such as vests, diffusing kit and others. Actually, when we were browsing ZephyrAirsoft.com's (an online shop that retails a complete line of airsoft guns from spring pistols to high end machine guns) gallery, he can smartly identify the different types of airsoft guns and the other tactical weapons. He's wanting to put his shooting skills in real life that's why he's considering the game of airsoft to try.

Athletic and Sports-Minded

When I was younger, I was athletic and more sports-minded compared to now that I've aged (a little). I was our grade school class' volleyball team captain and even aced 3 out of 4 PE subjects in college with a perfect score of "1". Volleyball and table tennis were my forte then. I also loved watching live games on TV like UAAP basketball, the Olympics telecast of various sports, wrestling, soccer and sometimes the NFL. However, I know little about the game of football that I need to ask the husband while watching how is it scored or why do the referee gave that call and all those sort of questions.

Speaking of football, I found a fan site for the Florida football pride, Dolphins. The MiamiDolphinsTicket.com was built by and built for the Miami Dolphins fans where they can get the latest news and information about their idols and most of all, shop for Miami Dolphins Tickets to all the Dolphins' games. It is also the ultimate resource of the players' stats and yes, it's also a place where fans can chat and share their passion for their favorite Dolphins player.

All About Airsoft Gas Guns.

As you might have noticed, I've been blogging a lot about airsoft lately. Blame it on a sports show that I watched last week. It got me really interested to it that I've been collecting Airsoft info these days. If I may add, my research about this game has influenced a friend of mine , too. He's asking now if I have an articles about airsoft gas guns because he's planning to buy one that he can use for his first combat play next week. Here's what I've found:

Airsoft Green Gas for Airsoft Gas Guns

When you look at the most popular options on the market, airsoft gas guns are some of the biggest sellers. And that makes good sense because the guns have plenty of benefits, including being affordable and fairly powerful. As you might imagine, they also need to have their gas containers replaced after you expend a specific number of shots. Most use a gas known as HFC134a, but you could sometimes opt for airsoft green gas instead.

Details of the UHC Green Gas

The best explanation is that the green gas airsoft gun is more powerful than the more traditional type of gas that is used. Usually, the gas is made from propane with silicone included and this combination can provide a boost to many of the guns on the market. Of course, you'll have to pay a little extra for that boost but the cost may be worth the results. One point that is important to remember is that this type of gas is not more environmentally friendly than the other options. Some consumers make that mistake because of the "green" in its name.

Advantages of the Airsoft Gas Guns

HFC22, as this green type of gas is sometimes called, will give you more excitement for your investment. The biggest advantage, of course, is that this extra power is going to be a great asset to you on the Airsoft field.

Of course, you'll have some other advantages as well. One of the weaknesses of the gas gun models in general is that they can't perform as well in very cold conditions. That's because the traditional gas used in most of the models just can't stand up to that type of weather. As a result, you could be in the middle of a match or of target practice then have your gas pistol just stop working as it should. That's not going to be a problem if you're using the HFC22. However, you do have to be worried about the opposite problem: the green variety of gas can't withstand high temperatures. In some climates, therefore, you might need to use both types and switch between seasons.

Air soft Guns Green Gas Issues

Of course, you don't want to start purchasing airsoft green gas until you know a few other facts. First, you can't use this product with every type of airsoft gas gun on the market. The Japanese models, in particular, just were not designed for this stronger gas. You really need to stick with the HFC134a variety with them. Otherwise, you could do some major damage to the equipment. The best way to find out if it's safe or not is to read your instruction manual or to ask a knowledgeable customer service representative.

Now there are some airsoft firearms on the market that were actually created for use with green gas airsoft gun. If you really want to use this product, those are going to be a good choice, although they usually do cost more than your average airsoft gas guns. Remember that they can still be damaged if you use them and this type of gas in very hot conditions. You may still need to switch back and forth between the two types to meet the needs of your climate.

All About Accessories.

Playing airsoft isn't just limited to guns, rifles and pistols. Like any other game or sport, it also has a number of accessories used to enhance and make the game more enjoyable and a number, for safety purposes.

Airsoft Accessories for Airsoft Guns, Rifles and Pistols

If you want to make the most of your Airsoft guns, you're going to need to acquire some useful Airsoft Accessories. Most of these additional supplies will either help you have more fun or will ensure your safety. Both are, of course, important whether you're a beginner user or a more experienced user. Below are some of the top soft air accessories you might want to consider adding to your arsenal.

Airsoft Goggles and Masks

One of the most important soft air accessories you can purchase is face and eye protection. Even though these guns are not anywhere near as dangerous as real pistols and rifles, the "ammo" is going to be shot out of the gun at a tremendous rate of speed. If you in the trajectory of that ammo, you could get seriously injured. If a BB hits you in the eye, for example, you could be blinded thanks to the full force of that air pushing it out of the barrel. By always wearing these airsoft guns accessories you can protect yourself from pain and serious injury.

Extra Air Soft Ammunition

What is one of the worst things that could happen to you while you're having a great time shooting off your BB guns? What if you're in the middle of a game with your Airsoft Rifle Accessories pointed out a competitor ready to fire the winning shot and you realize you're out of ammunition? That would definitely make you less than thrilled but would also give your competitors a great story to tell. And since you don't want to be the guy in that story you should always come prepared with extra ammo. The best idea is to keep your gun loaded and bring along a healthy supply of extra bbs, too. You may not need them today but you might tomorrow.

Pop Up Targets for Your Airsoft Guns Practice

One of the best parts of having your own Airsoft gun is that you can use it to improve your aim. However, that's going to require having something to shoot at. One of the most useful of the Airsoft accessories, therefore, is going to be pop up targets. You have the flexibility to set these at any distance you desire so you can keep improving your aim over time. They are convenient choices because you can place them anywhere you want which is good if you want to work on your aim. Plus you can move the targets back further as you keep improving your shooting ability.

Durable Air Soft Guns Carrying Case

Another good idea for Airsoft accessories is a carrying case. This makes it convenient for you to take your equipment, including targets and extra ammunition with you. That means if you want to visit your friends and do a little fun shooting you can easily have everything you need with you and don't have to worry about losing or forgetting anything that is important. The carrying case is also a great way to take your charger along with you.

Paintball Games, Anyone?

If given the chance (and time..and budget), I would love to try the game of paintball. I have watched several episodes of a local sports show where they featured such and from the looks of it, it seems it's totally fun. I like the thrill, the energy and the adrenaline rush as if you're in a combat. Albeit it's totally nerve-wracking, muscle-mangling and exhausting, nothing beats the feeling of overwhelming triumph when you hit someone bullseye with a paintball.

If you are as curious as me and would love to try out this sport, hubby told me that there's a shop online where you can buy paintball packages (starter kits) and other gears like paintball guns, paintball goggles, casual apparel, jerseys, hoppers and a whole lot more. What's even cooler about ZephyrPaintball.com is that their gears are marked down at lower prices with free shipping even.

Sports Buff In The Making.

When Asher grows up, we'll definitely encourage him to be involved with sports. Aside from keeping one mentally or physically fit and healthy, sports instills in one's self discipline, interpersonal and social skills (for team sports). I want him to become a goal-oriented person, working and focused to strive a set dream. Further it brings leisure and recreation satisfaction.

There are several types of team sports, mostly involves contending possession for a ball or object. Most common examples and most played are Basketball, Baseball, Soccer and Volleyball. I'm pretty sure that Asher will grow up to be a sports-minded person someday because hubby and I, ourselves, are sports buffs. Hubby loves playing basketball and billiards while I, on the other hand, is into volleyball. It's up to Asher which sport will he choose but I'm making a strong bet, it'd be basketball. Why, you may ask..well just look at the pictures below.
