The Giveways.

I have been yakking in my other blogs about the party preparations I'm doing for my son's birthday next month. Well, it's kinda exhausting doing all by myself the nitty gritty details but all the more that I'm excited to see how will everyone, especially Asher, enjoy the party. Almost all details have been ironed out including the souvenirs. It took me quite a long while thinking of a nice token. In fact I even checked out the catalog of a custom promotional product supplier to get an idea. But the featured products, although nice and unique, are quite costly. And so I settled with these home made chocolates I found over the web. The best thing about this is that the choco wrappers can be customized by none other than me. And so, here's how will it look like:

The chocolate is sweet but the whole of it is made sweeter because it is done with a labor of love.

What Color Is Your Mind?

Your Mind is Blue

Of all the mind types, yours is the most mellow.

You tend to be in a meditative state most of the time. You don't try to think away your troubles.

Your thoughts are realistic, fresh, and honest. You truly see things as how they are.

You tend to spend a lot of time thinking about your friends, your surroundings, and your life.

The Capella Dream.

Last December, our former high school batch student council president held an almost "impromptu" reunion to celebrate our so-called 10th year anniversary of our being USTHS alumni. In reunions like these, mixed emotions arise..nostalgia for meeting friends again you haven't seen for a while and as everyone reminisce the old times together; and either pride for "bragging" for what one has become or shame on the contrary for what one hasn't achieved still.

Anyway, I noticed that several have a come a long way...already licensed professionals in their respective fields and some already masters degree holder. And this made me rethink about my masters online university degree dream. So now, here I am re-browsing again Capella University's program offerings. After watching their latest ‘Inside Online Education’ podcast, I'm almost convinced to sign up but then the lack of educational funds for now stops me to do so. But this won't stop my Capella dream. In time, I know I'll earn that degree from the online leading provider of master’s and PhD degrees.

At Last.

The Newlyweds.

And so my sister finally tied the knot last weekend. By their looks in this picture, it's pretty obvious that they had a blast and their love is overflowing, isn't it? Not only them, but the guests were likewise infected with their jubilation and enchantment. I'll be posting a separate entry on my main blog about their wedding, including how beautiful (naks!) I was on that day as their Matron of Honor. Right now, they're relaxing and getting the rest they deserve since by next week, they'll be going back to Qatar where they are based. Thank goodness, almost everyone heed their humble request not to be gifted with heavy presents. So no microwave ovens, coffee makers, dinnerwares, appliances or those common home wares.

Clean Up.

Sheesh, it seems I have a tremendous cleaning up to do in this blog before I go and search the web for insurance quotes. Not only on this blog actually but across all of my blogger-platformed blogs. I'm sick and tired of receiving and reading spam comments and for all I know, these are spammers doing malicious SEO activities to gain advantage for their sites. Oh well, let's see where will you be taken with such acts.
