The Benefits of Jigsaw Puzzles

Do you love solving jigsaw puzzles?  My 4-year-old son does.  We have bought him 24-piece puzzles and he can solve it in under 5 minutes all by himself.  Now that he has memorized most of his puzzles, he’s asking us to buy him some more.  I won’t mind buying puzzles since these are actually educational toys.  Even though he tends to get messy with its puzzle box and its pieces just lying around whenever he’s playing, it’s just okay.  He’s reaping the following benefits anyway so we’d just be supportive of his latest fascination.

1.) Puzzles are great for developing problem solving skills

2.) Makes a great family bonding time when played together

3.) Great for his motor skills as he holds each piece and try to fit them in its proper place
