whoCelebsTweet.com - Celebrities on Twitter

No doubt, my day isn't complete without me tweeting or checking out the tweets of those I follow. Well, I admit I'm one twitter addict that I see to it that I'm updated about everyone (on my list). And I must say that Twitter is one of the most effective short one-liner diary tool that will let people know about what's on your mind. Now with celebrities tweeting, their fans can all the more get connected with them instantly.

Sinfully Delicious.

BSA4

Sinful indulgence.

Don't you just love to grab a banana, apple, strawberry, wafer or any dipper, dip into this luscious, sweet chocolate syrup and savor each and every toothsome tickles on the tongue? This is the chocolate fountain that we indulge ourselves into during the Twitter and Bebots Meet Up the other week. Aside from camwhoring, chatting, and playing taboo...we feasted over CCME catered foods and care less of the calories. For a moment, everyone forgot their diet regimens. There's Anoretix anyway and it's just okay to binge once in a while. Agree?

Short Meet Up With Kathy.

Before the little shopping I did that I have blogged earlier, I first met up with Kathy to hand her the stuff that she bought from Trin. It's actually the main purpose of my heading to Landmark this morning. Likewise, she handed me the Artscow guest sheets of Asher which were delivered just the other week. They are intended to be used in his March party but unfortunately, the shipping got delayed. We met at the second floor near the plus size lingerie section. It wasn't actually the meeting place but we chanced upon each other midpart along the way. She was with her mom, aunt and her sister so I got to meet them as well. And of course, just like Kathy, they are all nice, kind and approachable. According to Kathy, they have just bought her mom's dress and they were on their way to buy its matching bag. I think Kathy mentioned that her mom will attend a wedding soon. Albeit short, it was nice seeing again a dear online friend.

Little Shopping.

I feel tired right now but nevertheless, I am in high spirits because of the things I've accomplished this morning and most especially, because I was able to shop. Yup, I deviated from my self-imposed No Shopping Rule and splurged just a little. I'm going to post in a bit my loots but let me go crazy first over the Php 79 worth blouse that I saw from the rack and guess what, I bought it right away. Why wouldn't I? The blouse is so nice that I never thought it's unbelievably priced at a wholesale clothing cost. It's really a steal so just imagine how I hurriedly ran to the counter afterwards. Now I have something new to wear this weekend.

Shopping-less.

The husband must be proud of me. I haven't shopped, online that is, for quite some time now. My blogging tasks lay low last February and we were dismayed with the tremendous drop of our savings in the bank especially it was also that period when withdrawals were frequent for the little one's party. And so as a result, I vowed to help the husband by trying not to shop unnecessarily. Even though there are sales everywhere, Gymboree, Old Navy, sales in the digiland, All Aboard Toys, and there was a Danze faucet sale even, but I managed to get away without spending and diminishing my paypal wallet. Whew! That's one great achievement. Right now, I'm thankful for opps raining my way. I'm saving up for the husband's birthday gift next month.

Monday Plans.

My plans for today include:

1. blog about last friday's EB with twitter and bebot friends
2. blog about last saturday's pedia visit and grocery day
3. blog about yesterday's hometown fiesta in Apalit
4. finish Asher's 13 month notes. I've been postponing this task when in fact I should have done and finished this on his 13th month birthday. Well, as always, my hands are full with a lot of tasks. Although yayay is with us, I can't take off my eyes from the little one who can already walk steadily. We're always on the lookout though because he might fall and hit the wood flooring hard.
5. digiscrap Asher's birthday photobook.

I have to get going and start.

Online Degree.

To earn a post-graduate degree preferably in line with Business Administration to augment the Bachelor’s Degree I earned from UST is one of my long term goals and aspirations. Although, we also have universities in the metropolis offering good quality of higher education, I am aspiring to acquire a post graduate from a US university offering an online degree.

One of my choices is the Capella University which is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (CA). With headquarters in Minneapolis, their advanced and cutting-edge higher education online is just simply superb and outstanding. They are committed to provide even more unique opportunities and high caliber academic excellence to aspiring students worldwide. The online university currently serves more than 17,900 students across US and 56 other countries. In fact, one of their alumni, Jeannie McGuire, just received a Sunny Andrews Award for her commitment to social work.

How Do I Think?

I took the quiz at blogthings and it yielded that I'm not thinking at all! Nah, just joking. It actually said that I think creatively:

Your brain works best when you let your intuition be your guide.

You like to imagine, speculate, and fantasize. You have fun playing with ideas.

You are interested in theories. You enjoy studying and developing them.

You are drawn toward art, philosophy, and even math. Almost every subject is interesting to you
.

Do I agree, in some points yes but some I do not. Especially with the math thing. I did enjoy math way back school days but it wasn't my forte plus I have some other favorite subjects than math. I find Home Economics more enjoyable even especially when we did crochets for outdoor cushions cover.

Secret.

A cousin of mine has been making big profits in his stock investments. I envy his being skilled, his persistence and positive outlook. Despite the world economic crisis, he absolutely knows and carefully studies his strategies. And truly, it's working good...not just good but working at its best! I have actually started inquiring how does he do it. Well, there's one secret that he told me and I hope he forgives me for spilling it here. He mentioned something about PowerOptions. He said that it's actually his best online aid and has raking him tons of moolah lately with just a click of the mouse. He went on raving how options express does him wonders. Now this has prompt me to think about venturing into stock trading too so I'll earn more just like he does.

All About Blogging.

1. How did you come up with your blog title OR what does it mean? This started as my wedding blog then later on a family blog so with that said I think it's easy to figure out why Love. Happiness. Us. is the title. I initially thought of naming it as "Life Lifter" but what comes to my mind are automotive lifts with the word lifter.
2. What are your general goals for blogging? This is where I pour out my views, interests or just about any random thoughts as a stay at home mom, wife, friend, etc. Aside from that, blogging provides me means to pay off some bills..you know what I mean.
3. Do people “in your real life” know that you blog and do they comment on your blog OR is it largely anonymous? Yes they do and in fact comment to my entries on rare times. But more often than not, they just stalk.
How often do you post (x per week)? I try to update my blogs daily.
4. How often do you read other blogs (x per week)? Everyday..thanks to Bloglines.
5. How do you select blogs to read (do you prefer blogs that focus on certain topics or do you choose by tone or…?) I have a circle of blogging friends so theirs are my blog reads.
6. Do you have any plans to copy your blog entries in any other format, 0r do you think that one day, you’ll just delete it all? I don't know. But there's one thing for sure, I'd never delete my blogs.
7. What are the things you like best about blogging? I gained friends and moolah through blogging. Also, this is the way that my kin abroad gets updated of us here in Pinas.

12. Have you suffered blog addiction? Yes.

Anxious.

I'm about to burst out of excitement for a get together I'll be attending tomorrow. Me and my online friends (twitter friends to be specific) will have an EB for the nth time and even though a number of us have met frequent times before, tomorrow will be a grand and more exciting one because we'll get to see those we haven't met still. One is on vacation from the US while another will be coming from down south. Then some more who's based in the metro but didn't get to attend our previous EBs before. We'll be having our mini-party at BSA Tower, it's not one of the premier boutique hotels in Makati but it's a spacious and comfy serviced apartment in the Central Business District and just the right venue for us to engage in non-stop chitchatting, chocolate gulping (we have a choco fountain) and feasting of yummy CCME meals. A few will spend the night there so it'll also be a sort of slumber party. Now I'm really am so excited to meet these girls.

Weight Update.

I think I have mentioned here that I am on a diet mission right now. Contrary to the "regular" slimming mission that most ladies have, I'm having mine as fattening session. As mentioned, my post delivery weight dropped significantly and it's even way below my average pre-pregnancy weight. Well, it's basically attributed to my breastfeeding but since Asher is now mixed fed, I'm taking it easy now plus I try to load up my meals to gain weight. So there, instead of threadmills, slimming pills, and Kettlebells I am arming myself with lots of healthy foods plus a good sleep. Whenever the little one naps in the afternoon, I take a break from my online works and join him.

My current weight now is just 88 lbs..by next month, I'm targeting to gain at least 5 lbs. I'll update you next month regarding this mission.

Swimming Time.

I can surely feel the heat of the summer now. How hot it is from where I am from? Well, I'm still sweating even if the fan is directly blowing at me steadily. Same goes with the little one who's even more sweaty than I am. That's why we didn't have second thoughts when we passed by the toys section and abound were inflatable pools for kids. Since he enjoys the water so much, we decided to buy this mini inflatable pool from Intex. So once in a while, we let him enjoy and to freshen him up from the scorching summer heat. He loves it of course specially if his pool toys are floating around. Here's the proof:

Organize.

Organize This

1. Are you an organized person?
:: I'm sometimes OC but sometimes I'm not that organized too..depends on my mood.

2. What is one thing about your home that has to be just so or it drives you crazy when it comes to organization?
:: My son's closet. Everything has to be neatly folded and placed in the right compartment.

3. Do you have one little nuance about your organization that most people consider to be a little over the top? What is it?
:: None.

4. What is your favorite organizational tool? (bins, closet organizers, etc.)
:: Closet organizers. I love one that has many compartments or pockets.

5. Where is your favorite place to buy organizational needs?
:: Mostly, I just buy it from SM.

6. Are you more organized at work or at home?
:: I don't work anymore but I think I'm more organized when I was at work then.

7. Are you more or less organized than your significant other?
:: He is more organized haha!

8. Does your significant other help or hurt organization?
:: He helps. Actually I let him fix our bag when we travel because he's more skillful when it comes to packing things.

9. What is the most important recreational items that you organize?
:: Our DSLR bag.

Speaking of organizing things, I need to get going and fix the requirements that we'll be needing for the car insurance renewal.

Shopping Freeze.

I love shopping online and offline but of course, it's much enjoyable when you have the moolah to splurge. We're still recovering from the party expenses trauma so just imagine how hard it is for me lately when we go malling on weekends. Just last Easter Sunday, we went to Trinoma to treat the little one and buy new Avent teats for his bottles. When we were at the baby section, I intended not to look at each rack of clothes and other baby stuffs so I wouldn't be enticed. I knew I would just end up disappointed going home without it. I almost even rushed the cashier lady who was so slow in using the barcode scanner so that we can go out of the section immediately. At any rate, I was able to sneak into the cart a pair of pajama sets for Asher aside from the bottle teats. Then the husband, without me knowing, grabbed a toy for the little one while we were at the counter.

Commune With Nature.

Rustic houses may appear simple and old-fashioned, but there's something about them that's totally soothing to the senses and just perfect for my ideal rest house outside the city. Especially if complemented with rustic furniture, anyone entering such type of dwelling communes with nature.

For example, check out this 6 Piece Cedar King Bedroom Set from Scenic Furniture.

Just by looking at it, the classic lodge look allures one and it seemingly invites one to take a sound rest as if you're in the wilderness of the nature and communing in solitude. I like its rugged yet elegant presentation and the colors definitely jive and are pleasing to the eye. I better bookmark this site so I'll have a reference when the time comes that we'll build our rest house, with wishful thinking, in Baguio. :)

Too Small.

My brother is so desperate to buy a new TV soon..preferably a LCD TV. Our old (I forgot how many years already) Sony TV conked out last week while in the middle of his serious and in full concentration PS2 gaming. So you could just imagine how dismayed and annoyed he was. Especially now that it's summer and he's on break from school, he's already bored without the TV. Actually we still have a small 14" one where we watch our daily routine TV session but he doesn't want to use it in his gaming because he says.."the screen is too small". He's been persuading our Daddy to buy a new TV soon..now let's see when will the Big Boss say yes to him.

Silver Collection.

The whole family trooped to my Father-in-Law's ancestral home in Pulilan, Bulacan and it's there that we spent our Good Friday. We had sumptuous lunch of seafoods and fishes together with the whole clan. Aside from the local's "pamamanata" in their town, what caught my attention was hubby's aunt's coin collection displayed in the shelves. There are coins from various countries with different values and wide array of colors from gold to silver to copper. I lost count how many of each color but I noticed that she has silver coins the most. She said that she got most of them from her travels abroad. I also heard that she mentioned about Monaco Rare Coin..I think it's from there that she got her latest addition to the collection. She said that more than a hobby, she's having it as investment since rare coins and precious metals make good fortune if traded wisely.

Holy Week Sacrifice.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be offline in observance of the Lenten season. That means..no blogging, no emails, no twittering, no facebooking and no surfing even. I really won't open my laptop so it'll also rest for three days and that's one of the things I'm giving up.

Sacrifice.

I'll also be able to focus on things that needs to be prioritized. I'll spend some time to ponder and reflect. After all, that's what Holy Week is all about.

May this Lenten season bring you a meaningful and bright (as those perennials in the garden) paradigm and perspective. See you all on Easter Sunday! Have a blessed Holy Week everyone.
