Are you also one of those who were so into Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) a few months ago? Personally, I appreciate the idea and objective of this reality tv show since they are uncovering fresh talents and turning them into amazing music icons after rigorous trainings and guidance done with schooling-style where they were given grades, underwent improvement monitoring and graduations and all sorts of that. This was produced by Endemol that has been broadcasted in over 50 countries having the same format but with slight variations and styles. It is a pop music talent contest with viewer voting and reality show elements.
On their subsequent seasons, it would be better if they would also include wide variety of music genres and not just concentrate with pop music. There are a lot of Progressive Artists out there like Rock bands, Hip Hop bands and Grunge Bands, etc. waiting to be discovered and would also love to shine with their outrageous talents. It would be better if they are also given the opportunity.
